2000 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY II

2000 Land Rover Discovery II. When I built this Discovery I set out to do something that I haven't seen before. I loved the look of the white top 4x4s you'd see in the 60's and 70's and the throw back up the white steelies in that same era and wanted to try for a throw back version in a Discovery. I have been wanting to do something in Land Rover's Arles Blue for a long time and knew this would be incredible on a Disco.

The body is Arles Blue with a ceramic coat. The steel wheels and Iconic Discovery roof is done in an Porsche Arctic White. The front winch bumper is from Atlantic British, the rear is from Tactical Rover. Both are powder coated in a charcoal grey. The rear bumper has a swing arm with a full size spare, and room for two spare tanks. The winch is a 10,000LB Warn winch, set into the front grill. The grill was custom cut for that set in look. The Engine was replaced with a chipped Bosch 4.6L V8 with the 4 speed automatic ZF transmission. It sits on BFG All Terrain with a Terra-Firma 2" lift. I removed the fender plastic for a back dated look. The roof-rack and latter were custom from Voyager Racks.

The interior is sheeted with sound dampening throughout the entire vehicle (floor roof, doors) with an additional heat shield. The audio system is a Steg system with multiple amplifiers and a subwoofer hidden in the rear. This Disco has a reverse cam and front approach cam. The carpet is a tan rolled German weave, with tan Italian leather seats and Pendleton Sunbrella inserts. (Leather and Carpet supplied by Relicate.)

You will not find another Discovery like this one.
